Some people live to dance. We dance to live.

Synopsis
When our local Zumba Gold ® dance class went online during the Pandemic, women from their 40s into their 80s signed on from all over the country. Dancing together, we confronted body image, broke through our isolation, experienced joy, became grandmothers. Our dance teacher, Ketty Munaf Rosenfeld, is the heart of WHY WE DANCE. We made this film ourselves.
“As a woman who recently turned 50, I was deeply inspired by this film. It made me happy. Why We Dance is a breath of love and fresh air on my fears of aging.”
Irena F. Learning Designer, Boston University
“This film is so much fun that I’m working on getting it shown at two other venues in my life.”
Nancy B., Retired Psychologist
